A HAPPY BLEND OF TWO CULTURES

An important aspect of Sans Souci is the completely bilingual atmosphere. The camper population is approximately half francophone and half anglophone, allowing all campers an excellent opportunity to learn a second language. The campers are immersed in a bilingual program and have opportunities during their day to practise speaking their second language. Many activities require that the campers use their second language skills in a fun and practical way. For example, campers practise their reading and writing skills in their second language by completing a bilingual exercise book. The exercises in the book relate to horsemanship topics and therefore campers can improve their second language skills, while learning more about horse care.
